At Brightworks, we do school differently. Everything, from the space we inhabit to the places we learn, invites curious minds and dedicated learners to think big, create audaciously, and build extensively.
Our school building, which used to be the power plant for the Best Foods Mayonnaise factory, is conducive to the ever-changing needs of the students’ ideas and projects.
The Community Lunch program brings us together in a shared eating experience that educates us about where our food comes from and the preparation process.
Field trips happen everywhere and often.
The mixed age environment encourages empathy, play across age barriers, and deep friendships.
We consider ourselves the “school that says yes.”
