2025 Maker Marketplace coming soon!

Save the date for Brightworks’

10th Annual Maker Marketplace

Thursday, December 11, 4-6pm

Our usually annual, much-beloved community event, Maker Marketplace, returns to Brightworks on December 11th from 4–6pm!

This festive gathering is part craft fair, part maker experience, part fundraiser, and part community celebration. Come see our community in action! Friends and family are invited to explore the tables and, if inspired, purchase a variety of handmade goods and treats from our excited makers and vendors.

If this will be your first time at Maker Marketplace, you’re in for a treat.

Many Brightworks students participate in this low-pressure opportunity to make and sell their creations. Past offerings have included: jewelry, stickers, knitting, coasters, soap, spice rubs, hot sauce, glitter calm-down jars, poetry collections, tarot card readings, joke telling, hand-dyed socks, recycled-material ornaments, homemade marshmallows, fresh popcorn, LARP items, driftwood planters, and 3D-printed toys.

Kids let their imaginations run wild! By participating in Maker Marketplace, students get a hands-on taste of the entrepreneurial process. They generate ideas, create their goods or services, share them with the community, determine how they’ll take payment, organize supplies, set up their tables, connect with customers—and at the end of the evening, they crunch their numbers and donate 20% of their sales to a student-selected community nonprofit.

Hope to see you there! 682 Schofield Rd, San Francisco, 94129
