In the puppet master studio with Mandisa, imagination takes center stage as young creators delve into the magical art of crafting intricate puppets and bringing them to life through light and shadow. Students are embarking on a journey of discovery, learning the ancient techniques of shadow manipulation while igniting their creativity and storytelling prowess.

From crafting a studio box to creating whimsical characters and orchestrating mesmerizing performances, each session is a vibrant fusion of artistry and adventure, where every shadow holds endless possibilities. During this studio, we will unlock the secrets of this captivating art form, where shadows dance and imaginations soar!

In the first week of the Studio we’ve learned about the history of puppetry, researched our storyline, identified our materials and we are deciding upon first person narration.
